Dian Hong Cha is a red tea from Yunnan, China. Dian is an old word for Yunnan. Dian Hong is typically malty and often described as peppery. Medium and lower grades are rather brisk, while top grades, comprised entirely of the golden/khaki buds, are very smooth and have strong notes of honey.
